We are having supper at an upscale restaurant on the beach near our resort. The sunset is beautiful with the light playing through the clouds; a few bolts of lightening strike in the distance. Not a breeze. Mosquito coils smoking on top of beer bottles. A couple settles in near us; her sickly sweet perfume wafts through the air, we move to another table.
For a change from Thai food, we are having Fish and Chips (two plates feed three or four), I'm having a chicken burger with fries (150 B $5). It is pretty expensive but the service is perfect, the English quite good, the food delicious.
