I had to think strategically to understand this one. Net Neutrality is often counter intuitive. The basic premise: All services must be equally available, or not. So in India: no free Facebook, if Google isn't free as well.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are about to impose usage-based billing on YOU.

This means we're looking at a future where ISPs will charge per byte, the way they do with smart phones. If we allow this to happen Canadians will have no choice but to pay MUCH more for less Internet. Big Telecom companies are obviously trying to gouge consumers, control the Internet market, and ensure that consumers continue to subscribe to their television services.

The Real Cost of 4G

My sentiment exactly. I think providers are UNETHICAL in not providing their clients with a simple tool to manage their account. It isn't enough to simply report it. Not everyone can afford to pay a $200 surprise on their statement. Something like T mobile that only allows text if you reach your volume limit for the month seems reasonable. Steve

I want some 4G over WiMax

A straight answer, finally. WiMax just carries the signal to your cell phone, PC, Pad, etc. (much like WiFi wireless in your home). 4G is just a list of billable services that run over WiMax. Steve
