Choose a tablet for readers. Is NINE inches the right size?

Trying to pick the best all around reader tablet. NINE inches is starting to sound great. Steve

• 10 inch too big: Apple (Canada) - iPad 
• 7 inch too small: Apple (Canada) - iPad mini - Technical specifications
• 8.9 inch just right, but underpowered and Android 3.0 (ugh!) Samsung GALAXY Tab 8.9 specs
