I did it, 10 km in one hour 12 minutes. The second half was slower since I took 2 short breaks to walk and rest. I was last, but I did it; bad posture and all.
The race ran right past our house so Ginette, her mother and aunt were cheering me on from the balcony, so were several of my neighbours. That was very funny!
The couch to 5k program is working for me. I just finished the 27 days and run 4 to 5 km every other day, so 10 km is quite a stretch for me, I will see how I feel tomorrow. One of my great moments this morning? Asking for a small Tshirt. I ran into a few old pros with killer bodies and running schedules to match, not my style.
