Maybe not, but Amazon is making so much money off you once you own a Kindle that they won't resist providing extra incentives. Say $100 credit if you buy a $100 kindle. Why not a $150 credit; pay me to buy a Kindle?Once you get started buying through Amazon, forever is a long time.
It seems some radio broadcasters got started that way, they would hand out free "single station" radios to lock in their audience. Déja-vu?
