Sairee Hut Resort is a hit

The 1.7 km beach is lovely, the coral is just a straight walk straight off from the beach.

We have been 10 days on this island and are leaving on the night train to Bangkok at 9:30 PM. I will see if one can sleep in second class sleepers in Thailand.

The Blue Wind restaurant was the best overall, the cashew crepe was a delicious desert.

The 3G Kindle worked everywhere beyond expectation and is a fine backup communication system, but the keyboard remains a bottleneck. My Windows 7 pc WiFi is not always free in Thailand and sometimes quite expensive but on this island it is always free. Of course the real home run is the 3 cent per minute cell phone to Canada.
