We walked to the fourth level, then the trail turned ugly; so we went back to sit in the pools at the falls. But the fish are quite aggressive and chew on the skins of your feet. The small fish are fun, the larger ones (four to 10 ibches) not so much. I had four inch fish hanging off my heel like so many grapes when I would pull it out of the water. Ewe!

Thailand | Visit Kanchanaburi | Erawan Waterfalls National Park: "Erawan Falls has seven levels dropping down over 1,500m and is regarded as one the more beautiful in Thailand.

Swimming near pool number two. |
You can walk to each level fairly easily on the paths but if you're aiming to get to the very top then it's a bit of a scramble up the cliff - it's worth the effort though!"

Downtown Kanchanaburi streetlamps never looked so good.
