All that marketing would have us thinking that "Résidence" living is much more popular than it really is. Certainly, if you can bring help to your home, you are better off than moving to the help.
So start making friends with your younger neighbours, you will need them eventually...
Between 65-74 96% live at home only 2,4% are in residences with services. These numbers start changing for the 75-84 year olds dropping to 83,2% and for the 85+ crowd 60,9%. So Private residence with services is a luxury item it seems.
