Quick Add Event to Google Calendar with Google Chrome

I want to add an item to my calendar, but it is closed. Now with this crazy tip, it is trivial and it really works! Just follow the instructions below to set it up your Chrome. Then type your event details in the address bar and press enter!
  • To use it type "ca" only, in the address bar,
  • Then the tab key then the text of your event;
    for example "Meet with Ron at 12:35 in the lunchroom" and presto the event is created.  The numbers after the AT go set the time the event, words after AT go to the Location of the event window.
A very cool trick indeed, thank you Andrew.
Steve.
