Of course text messaging is faster, despite this video to the contrary; we are comparing unskilled texting to highly skilled (read specialized) Morse code users. Of course after 160 years, the phone is 10 thousand times faster since we should be comparing the capacity of a pocket cell phone sending Video at 30 thousand letters per second to the capacity of a pile of iron and Morse code at 3 letters per second.
