In Microsoft Word, when you insert a section break into a page, a page break may be inserted instead.
To resolve this issue in Microsoft Office Word 2007, follow these steps:
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.
- In the left pane, click Advanced.
- In the right pane, expand Layout Options under Compatibility, click to select the Lay out footnotes the way Word 6.x/95/97 does check box, and then click OK.
