Encycleopedia : Product Detail

Encycleopedia : Product Detail: "Riding the Bacchetta definitely took some getting used to. The high bottom bracket and high seat, especially for a shorter rider like myself, are not easy to master right away, particularly at red lights. I would have to drop my right leg at an awkward angle and balance on my pointed toe (like a ballet dancer) in order to leave the other foot clipped in while stopped. Moreover the Superman style arm position (so called because your arms are extended straight ahead with just a slight bend in the elbows) was not as relaxed as the underseat steering of the Greenspeed or the chopper handlebars on an Easy Racer.

After two hours riding the Caf, I wasn't sure I would ever be able to adapt to the riding style. After two weeks of riding, I felt more comfortable though I had my doubts. But after a month I had fully adapted to the idiosyncrasies of the Cafand I knew I never wanted to go back to an upright bike again. It's simply that good."
