My Lifestyle Changes slowly over 4 years.
- First we sold the big house, moved into a smaller one. To cut down on the stress of making lots of money to pay it down.
- Then we moved closer to work, walking distance actually, and walked every day to work (2 km).
- We had a basket by the door, and placed $5 in it if we used the car. It motivated us to walk more.
- I started going to school by bike every other day except on bad weather days (like January and February, windy, cold, heavy rain).
- I started watching my food intake. Shifting food groups to healthier choices.
- I started biking daily 8 k to my new job location.
- I started running 20 minutes every other day on top of the biking.
- Mindstyle changes over time: Changing my self myself from a big, strong, low gear, walking beast a small, light, agile, running gazelle?
- Vanity: be proud of my appearance.
