200 beautiful and facinating pictures from the electron microscope. I especially liked the series where they show Viruses attacking a Bacterium then Macrophage attacking a Bacterium. It really puts the whole loop into perspective. The ciliate protozoa with their little mouths are particularly striking in their detail. Never has the microscopic world felt so clear in my mind.
