My life reading list 2008.05

Microcosmos. Discovering the World Through Microscopic Images from 20 X to Over 22 Million X Magnification (Hardcover) by Brandon Broll (Author)
200 beautiful and facinating pictures from the electron microscope. I especially liked the series where they show Viruses attacking a Bacterium then Macrophage attacking a Bacterium. It really puts the whole loop into perspective. The ciliate protozoa with their little mouths are particularly striking in their detail. Never has the microscopic world felt so clear in my mind. Steve

Study Skills Level III. The study group. Elaine Fitzpatrick Ed.D. 1982.
A fine overview of basic skills every student needs. Used at Dawson College. Thanks Caroline.

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, Eckhart Tolle. Dutton, October 11, 2005 ISBN 0-525-94802-3
A very good read. He does a fine job of connecting the evolution of philosophy from Descartes to Sartres to modern thought; as well as showing the basis for many religious beliefs. A fine brain builder. Thanks Oprah.

Tesoro Garfield (en español). Jim Davis. I like the puchy comebacks, they really push my spanish grammar study.
