I bought a 5 in 1 wireless printer/scanner/copier/fax/PCfax

  1. Did I mention I'm very happy with this product? DEPENDABLE is the keyword, it just works.
  2. I bought the Brother-mfc-7840w-monochrome-laser a wireless network printer!
Toner TN330 1500 pages for 49$ is 3.2 cents per page (don't bother)
Toner TN360 2600 pages for 60$ is 2.3 cents par page (a fair price)

It took 3 hours to get all features working wirelessly on one PC. Because my wireless access point is an antique, I had to connect the printer to the hub. I rebooted the printer and it then detected it's settings in DHCP (well after a few attempts). Once my first computer was configured over the wire, I went to the printer and set it to Wireless (WLan) and it was instantly available without cable.

It took 3 minutes on the second PC from inserting the CD to reboot.

All features work as expected. It responds instantly to printing and produces clear results. Converts scanned documents to file, email, text (OCR) quickly and with a single button. Faxes wirelessly from any PC over the phone (not wireless of course).
  3. This is just a printer I looked into because it offers the best price per page (toner is 2 cents per page)
