Visiting the BMO Dream home

http://www.maisonderevebmo.com/open.html

It's much more realistic than last year's, even at 5300 square foot living space. Tall nine foot ceilings on all floors including the basement, make for a comfortable spacious feeling, despite the very dark walls and ceilings. Half the top floor is the master bedroom, boudoir, ensuite bath and walk in closet, remarkable. The kitchen is a pleasure to stand in and I can easily imagine myself boiling an egg in there. The massive granite island with enclosed mini sink is perfect for chopping and preparing the egg. A supprise, the living room floor is recycled leather. The basement is designed as party central the centerpiece being the pool table. While a dozen can lay about in the generous home theater with a relatively small screen. The bridge table sits comfortably in front of the glass doors to the stocked wine cellar.

The unremarkable view of the neighbour's yards from the vertiginous balcony off the master bedroom ends with a very long external staircase to the backyard. The small freeform pool is very tastefull, but the exposed plumbing begs a pumphouse.

We bought a 10 dollar ticket anyway. Dream on.
