Eventually, a reasonable Internet access plan for all?

Thank you Google for glimmer of hope in the future of Internet access. Of course, we will have to wait a while before it reaches Canada.
Now we wait while the battle of the giants begins.
Compare to your plan – Project Fi
Steve

Project Fi offers text, talk, Wi-Fi tethering and international coverage in 120+ countries for $20 per month. Beyond that, Google will offer flat data rates in the U.S. and abroad at $10 per GB. So for 3GB, you’ll pay $30 on top of the $20 entry fee; that’s $50 in total for everything, which is reasonable. The nice thing is that any unused data will be credited to you for the full value. In Google’s example, if you use 1.4GB of 3GB, you’ll get $16 back. You’ll only pay for the data you use.
Solid deal!
