- Understand how to operate and utilize their interactive white board to enhance lessons
- Provide ground rules and expectations for students regarding digital citizenship
- Upload pictures from a camera and then utilize them within various platforms
- All for students to be creative and present their information in various ways
- Know how to upload a video to YouTube
- Skype or video conference
- Use Delicious.com and Pinterest to find teaching resources for the classroom
- Collaborate with students via Google Documents
- Use a community forum like Edmodo
- Speak their language; know, understand and speak with kid friendly language
- Experiment with comfort, accept that students may know more than you occasionally
- Build a network by participating, sharing, and learning constantly
