To change the new mail sound in Gmail:
- Make sure Gmail Notifier is installed.
- Select Control Panel from the Windows Start menu.
- Choose Sounds and Audio Devices.
- If you can't see this item, click Switch to Classic View in the left pane.
- Go to the Sounds tab.
- Select the desired sound for New Mail Notification.
- To disable audio notification, choose (none).
- Click OK.
