As I walk past landmarks, I start making mental notes of "this is the last time I see the
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, the subway access inspection station, the last time I use a subway token, the last time. I really feel the trip to Thailand is over.

| Just for laughs, not my picture, not in Thailand. |
We run off to
MBK Center shoes and lunch. Then to my favourite dentist for a very professional cleaning (880 Baht - $29) and inspection at
Siam Family Dental Clinic and
Chatuchak Market for some last minute bargain hunting till I drop from heat exhaustion.
Suddenly 129 Baht Bermuda shorts seem a real bargain; well, of course $4 shorts are a bargain! So we head off in the burning heat to the clock tower and locate the stall.
Panic sets in, money is no object, but how much can you carry home? There are four of us hauling all this stuff home.; we will be fine. We are loaded as pack mules by the end of the day.

| 8000 stalls visible see the little squares! |
All afternoon my body swings between intense bouts of sweating in the bright sun to the barely better shaded but crowded of the labyrinth of 8000 stalls with 200,000 visitors. I have never seen such crowded shopping conditions. Every so often I have to find an empty shaded area to calm myself.
We cap off the day with a coconut shell filled with bits of coconut meat scrapings and ice cream with coconut water (the combination is not unpleasant and cooling).

Finally we enter the refrigerated subway system and sit for the ride home. Whew.
Did I mention it was hot and crowded?
