The convenience of having access to my data anytime, doesn't always outweigh the low productivity of the applications. But once the document is created, it's off to the clouds with the document.
I'm still bumping into the limits on the cloud applications. Where improvements occur, (such as Javascript integration to Google apps) the complexity curve climbs so fast, I might get nose bleeds.
