Configuring an Ubuntu Home File Server

The idea is to dedicate an old PC to file service and keep all the Workstations around the house as basic as possible. That way they can crash and do all the ugly things experiments cause without fear of damaging my documents.

I've discovered that Windows users should leave now; Linux/Ubuntu servers are command line driven and the help is nasty looking at that.
