My life reading list - 2009.05 May

  1. Much Depends on Dinner: The Extraordinary History and Mythology, Allure and Obsessions, Perils and Taboos of an Ordinary Meal: Margaret Visser A very knowledgeable author tells the story of various foods in our diet. A mini-encyclopedia of food. Merci JP.
  2. Paradise Below Zero: The Classic Guide to Winter Camping (Fesler-Lampert Minnesota Heritage Book Series): Calvin Rutstrum, Leslie Kouba This is a classic, though dated, the basics are still solid.
  3. Le Corbusier: An Analysis of Form: Geoffrey H. Baker This book brought out the architect in me. The detailed analysis of the church of Ronchamp brought back many memories. The book is rather technical, but listed at 145 pounds in the UK!
