The end of days by Zechiria Sitchin. The man is truly attempting to connect the sea of disparate sources about Sumer together into a cohesive whole. It's a compelling if tenuous thread. You have to respect such passion, I have trouble accepting his hypothesis as fact. There are many books on the period, each omitting sources that do not fit their particular view of the time. Zechiria appears to use all sources available. Well, what do I know.
