Focused sound for use in class

Using NetSupport during workshops would greatly enhance communication and one on one communication with the student over the network would reduce interference to the rest of the class caused by the teacher's voice.

Sadly, no one would wear headsets all day, just in case the teacher calls upon them. The solution? Focused sound; to speak to the student and Unidirectional microphones to capture their voice. These technologies are now relatively cheap (Unidirectional microphones are now built into the Wide angle Webcams such as the VT-7000 retailing for $79). The Focused sound speakers are available from Dakota Audi0, this is where things get a little more complicated since I can't find out the price (a bad sign, more to follow).

So for $100 (?) per station, we could actually add full two way communication that doesn't interfere with other student, not even the neighbour. This would make a big difference in the quality of our individualised product.
