1. I can find no way to mirror image a screen on a PC, it always seems the projector's job.

This an example of how to use the Rear screen mode on a Compaq Microportable Projector 1200

Display a mirror image.

The projector has to be set for operation in rear screen mode or ceiling mount mode.

Access the OSD menu, select Image Control , select Flip Image , then the displayed image to the correct setting.
