Google politics

From PoliGazette » Google Firmly On Its Way to Domination
  1. Today, Google has a 16.6B$ annual revenue, 4.2B$ of which is profit. But its increasing domination of the market is making people uneasy.’
  2. If Google focuses on something, it becomes big instantly. If not because it delivers such high quality products, then because it is so big that consumers almost have to try not to useGoogle’s products.
  3. ...the company’s founders said they would not develop a browser of their own.
...But that changed suddenly. The reason, according to experts? Microsoft’s new edition of Internet Explorercould very well offer a feature that blocks Google’s targeted advertisements.
I still like Google, support Google, promote Google. It's the best suite of tools in town. As long as using Google doesn't close doors to other solutions, it can grow as big as it likes. They may become the first "information utility company" but they won't be the last.
