Capturing more information on Google Maps

Wouldn't it be nice if the hours of operation were available in google maps? We find the location, phone number, etc. That last bit of information would make it possible to act immediately rather than pose the question "Are they open?".

1. Here is an example for my local library: Bibliotheque multiculturelle de Laval
2. I see Google Maps added an Edit feature, but this type of information needs more structure. Maybe it should be gleaned from Google Calendar for example.
3. How about a link to Google Calendar from Google Maps? When addresses match?
