Don´t even think of visiting Barcelona without using the Official bus tour. We paid 48 euro for 2 for two days of unlimited guided bus tours of the city (make sure you get your 3 euro discount at the hotel). Once you go around for two days, you get the hang of it and can start using ythe city subways and busses (excellent service and only .75 euro per trip in bunches of 10 tickets.).
We check out guel park, wow, The Sagrada Familia of course. Then the Blue line to the Monjuic park and the beach.
