Woke up late this morning after a quiet night in the old city. Its beautiful out there, 16 to 25 degrees, blue sky with puffy whites floating by. There are few tourists here. So we stumbled around looking for coffee and bought our picnik lunch in small Panaderias, Bars, Supermercados and a quaint corner grocer where a 5 kg can of tuna sits on the counter and he sells by the spoonful. I´m enjoying oranges, I could live on them.
We are staying two nights at Posada Huecar (buy your discount parking 9 euro at the hostel before driving to the underground parking). We paid 56 euro for 3 people for a nice if crowded room.
We will visit the Casas Colgadas (houses hanging off the mountain). The old city is stacked along a steep mountain.
The swallows are dense as mosquitoes.
