Arrive in Olvera

We start the "small town" portion of our trip. We will stay in Olvera for a week. Our landlord is a friendly english lady named Zoe. It was nice to switch to english for a change.

Once settled in, we wander around to find a snack. At 3:00 PM on a Sunday, there was only one place open. Pepe's, run by a pair of wonderful englishmen. Met a teacher who likes to travel using "Intrepid travel" website or "Gap year". Excerpt from Guardian. So, our first contact with small town spain was all in english! The food was great.

We went to Gaby's restaurant for dinner. We have been seeking the elusive "Sangria", only to be served "Vino Tinto de Verano". Recipe.
