Remove Table of contents from self.
Bookmark all parts of the documents you want in table of contents under one name. (do not include the table of contents section of course)
Insert / bookmark... / document
go to table of contents and press ALT + F9
add code: { TOC \b document \o "1-3" \h \z \u }
