"This book is an over-the-top rant about the evils of sugar. According to the author, most major evils were caused by sugar: the Bubonic Plague, The Crusades, Slavery, Witchunts and every physical and mental problem experienced by the human race. He also slams the medical profession,the Catholic Church, European and US governments and the ruling and industrial elite. While I agree that too much sugar is harmful and unhealthy, Dufty's extreme views detract from his message."
